My fascination with all things magical began as a child when I became obsessed with witches, fae folk, fantastic creatures, and powerful sorceresses. When I was a little girl, my vivid imagination took me to fantastic worlds filled with unicorns, fairies, witches, and magic. It has always been my safe haven and solace to rely on my imagination and creativity throughout my life.

Magic and art didn't take on a whole new meaning or dimension until 2021 when my lifelong depression exploded in my face, and life as I knew it came crumbling down to my feet. It was in that period of darkness and confusion that I reconnected with the spiritual practices of my ancestors. Practices that dogma and religion attempted to eradicate. And By Waleska, which first served as a creative outlet, ended up becoming a growth area for my spiritual practice.

I created this space (By Waleska) to provide my Sisters all around the world with handmade offerings that can help them connect with their Spirituality & Higher Selves. Items have the power to transform any space they occupy into their private sanctuary. They can now discover not just these items here, but also the resources and direction they need to become more connected to their own spirituality and deepen their practice.
